| Steer-O-Sheathing Steer-O-Sheathing starts with a thickness of expanded polystyrene insulation board, laminates heavy kraft paper to its surface, adds a thickness of aluminum foil, and you've got an insulation board tough enough to withstand the abuse of just about any construction. Besides standing up to vandalism, that sort of toughness also reduced board breakage and loss during construction. The foil facer material on Steer-O-Sheathing is impervious to wind and unwanted water vapor. Each sheet of foil clad has a half-inch foil-flap on one side that overlaps the next sheet, sealing the joint between. This minimizes energy loss due to air infiltration or exfiltration.
